Distance Running

FITAthletics offers a variety of affordable personal coaching services. Our services are offered to runners of all abilities from the beginner to the elite.  Whether your goal is to finish your first 5k or to qualify for Boston, we can tailor a program for your specific goals. We have over 40 years of combined coaching experience that can help you run faster!

Our services include a detailed evaluation including medical history, general fitness assessment (body composition, flexibility, and muscular fitness), biomechanics assessment, and aerobic fitness testing.

Our training programs are designed using proven scientific principles and years of hands-on experience. We use a variety or training methods designed to help our clients:

Improve Aerobic (Oxidative) Power

Raise Lactate (Ventilatory) Threshold

Enhance Anaerobic (Lactate) Capacity

Increase Speed

Increase Muscular Strength and Endurance

Increase Mobility and Flexibility

Run Efficiently

We understand each runner is different. Therefore, our training programs are designed for the individual. We do not offer generic or canned training programs. All of our services include weekly or on-on-one contact with a qualified coach.
